Bell County sheriff’s office searches for missing 76-year-old woman

TROY, Texas (KWTX) — The Bell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing 76-year-old woman who may have been gone for several days.

Phyllis B. Zachary was reported missing Friday. She was last known to be at her home in the 1300 block of Farm to Market 1237, south of Troy.

Zachary is white, about 5 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes.

The sheriff’s office said Zachary has cognitive impairments that put her at risk. She is known to walk in the area and has traveled to Troy and North Temple in the past.

Authorities do not have a description of what she was wearing.
